ABOUT PARKER
Parker was born in Arlington and raised in Mansfield. He started kindergarten at JL Boren and graduated from Mansfield High School. Parker attended Texas State University, where he graduated with a degree in Accounting. Not wanting a 9-to-5 job, he decided to follow his passion of making ice cream!
Parker has been involved in every step of the way, from coming up with the catchy name, Getcha Sum, to designing the logo, to building, painting, and hanging the logo on the wall at the shop. Parker has always been highly competitive and never settled for average. He has said that, when you are kind enough to purchase his ice cream, he wants it to be an experience. He doesn't want you to say, "That was pretty good ice cream." He wants you to scream, "Wow! Where have you been all my life?!?!"
What's the Scoop
-Latest News-
We still have several projects in the works; some small, some large! Our largest, most exciting project is our 1962 Grumman Olsen Kurbside that is in the process of being restored and converted into a groovy, cool ice cream truck to be used for events.
We are also prepping a classic-looking ice cream delivery tricycle that will be popular for weddings and parties!
Some of our smaller projects include a sundae bar, that is soon to come, and there is also talk about offering shakes!

Getcha Sum will be celebrating its One-year Anniversary on Saturday, September 24th at the ice cream shop. There will be games, food, prizes, and of course, ice cream!
